Sling Backpack

I bought the pattern for the Sandhill Sling backpack by Noodlehead (you can buy it yourself here). They have a nice sew-along video that I found extremely helpful as I was putting it together. This is a small backpack that you wear like a crossbody bag. It’s great for short hikes when you want a water bottle plus your basics.

I used a celery green canvas for the exterior and a quilt cotton printed with sea turtles for the lining. There’s an exterior zipper pocket with a flap, a double-slide zipper at the top, and an interior pocket with an elastic top.
