An employee of Boersma’s, Debbie, saw the Making backpack on display and asked me to make one for her granddaughter’s Christmas present. She provided the materials and I sewed it up for her. This is my first private client, outside of friends and family, so I was very careful as I sewed, and I only had to rip out a couple of seams. There’s always something, right??
This version of the bag is the first time I made the alternate exterior pocket, and I think it turned out well. I added rivets to the leather handles for extra strength. Debbie was happy with it; I hope the granddaughter will be, too!
