My friend, Kathy, loves my faux leather backpack so much she requested one for herself. And even though I offered to use any fabric she chose, she wanted the same as I used for my own version, so this bag may look familiar to you. I used fancier webbing for hers and corrected a couple of features I found lacking in mine. I added the second carry strap so it’s easier to hold the bag while opening and closing, and I added a 2nd zipper pull to the top zipper so you can open it from the middle. I removed the zipper flap from the exterior zipper because the fabric is too thick to make opening the zipper very easy.
